Celebrating 50 years since Jimmy Hendrix played his first and only ever gig in Belfast 1967 at Whitla Hall. This painting focuses on a time in Belfast when murals where the statement to define areas and mark out territory, some cultured and others not. I would like to think this would have a been a mural to depict the Great guitar legend visiting the city at that time. The 'wee men' (lego) our local artists both helping out with a great mural.....all along the watchtower.
